Liberated

This piece is titled "Liberated". The original paint job didn't really achieve what I was shooting for. My target with this piece was to evoke a sence of searching...'the soul is longing to return'. The woods, I think, are more fitting. I feel that the philosophical bones are the same as the Duality piece below.

I think I'll repaint the bird again...it needs more black to contrast against the wall better. This will be one of those pieces that just never gets finished.
