New Easels

I recently bought two of these aluminum Weber Angelina easels, and although sliced bread is pretty cool, these are the best inventions ever.

First off, they just look really slick.

This is my old wooden easel. As you can see, it comes to a point at the top. If the painting is taller than the easel, the point will poke against the canvas leaving stretched spot.

Another draw back to the old one is that the support can just slide out while painting.

This easel has adjustable arms which sit flat against the canvas instead of coming to a point. The support is also adjustable and tightens with a wing-nut/bolt.

The coolest thing though is that it collapses making it super portable.
So, in summary, go to Hobby Lobby and buy one.
